La recerca \u00e9s la primera en mostrar que l&#8217;embar\u00e0s implica canvis que es mantenen a llarg termini \u2013almenys fins a dos anys despr\u00e9s del part\u2013 en la morfologia del cervell de la mare.<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva; font-size: 10pt;\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva; font-size: 10pt;\">Mitjan\u00e7ant l&#8217;an\u00e0lisi d&#8217;imatges de resson\u00e0ncia magn\u00e8tica, els cient\u00edfics han observat com en les dones que han viscut el seu primer embar\u00e0s es redueix el volum de la mat\u00e8ria gris en regions implicades en les relacions socials. Part d&#8217;aquestes regions s&#8217;activen quan la dona observa la imatge del seu nad\u00f3, de manera que &#8220;probablement els canvis corresponen a una especialitzaci\u00f3 del cervell per encarar els reptes que suposa la maternitat&#8221;, postula l&#8217;investigador de la UAB i de l&#8217;IMIM i director del grup que ha dut a terme l&#8217;estudi, <strong>\u00d2scar Vilarroya<\/strong>.<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva; font-size: 10pt;\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva; font-size: 10pt;\">Per dur a terme la recerca, els investigadors han comparat imatges de resson\u00e0ncia magn\u00e8tica de 25 dones embarassades abans i despr\u00e9s del part, de les parelles homes de 19 d&#8217;elles, i un grup control format per 20 dones que no estaven ni havien estat mai embarassades i les parelles homes de 17 d&#8217;elles.
