El nuevo registro, de car\u00e1cter administrativo, se crea con una funci\u00f3n de publicidad y control, con vistas a proteger, sin discriminaci\u00f3n, los efectos de las relaciones familiares tanto en el \u00e1mbito del derecho privado como en el \u00e1mbito del derecho p\u00fablico.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Trebuchet MS', sans-serif; background-image: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-position: initial; background-repeat: initial;\">En Catalu\u00f1a, concretamente, para cobrar la pensi\u00f3n de viudedad s\u00f3lo hab\u00eda que demostrar una convivencia de dos a\u00f1os por cualquier medio de prueba admisible en derecho o bien mediante escritura notarial. Con la mencionada sentencia del Tribunal Constitucional, los dos a\u00f1os exigidos pasan a ser cinco, y adem\u00e1s se requiere haber sido inscrito en el Registro de parejas de hecho, al menos, durante dos a\u00f1os.
