En defensa de la revoluci\u00f3n feminista<\/em>. \u00c9s la traducci\u00f3 al castell\u00e0 que  va publicar editorial Kair\u00f3s l&#8217;any 1976 de l&#8217;edici\u00f3 en angl\u00e8s del 1973,  per\u00f2 que, segons sembla, no era la primera que fou del 1970. Tot aix\u00f2 ho  dic perqu\u00e8 l&#8217;autora tenia 25 anys, quan el va escriure. Despr\u00e9s no va  escriure gaire, sembla que es va dedicar m\u00e9s aviat a la pintura.  \u00daltimament, l&#8217;any 1998 havia publicat un recull de narracions, Airless  Spaces, sobre la seva experi\u00e8ncia d&#8217;hospitalitzaci\u00f3 psiqui\u00e0trica.<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva; font-size: 10pt; text-align: left;\"><br \/><\/span><\/div>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\"><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-family: trebuchet ms,geneva; font-size: 10pt;\">Shulamith Firestone forma part del grup capdavanter del feminisme nordameric\u00e0 junt amb Betty Friedan, Kate Millet i Germaine Greer.  El seu activisme revolucionari feminista la va portar a crear els grups  New York Radical Women, Redstockings i New York Radical Feminist  enfront de l'&#8221;oficial&#8221; NOW.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-family: trebuchet ms,geneva; font-size: 10pt;\">La dedicat\u00f2ria del llibre ja diu molt: &#8220;A Simone de Beauvoir que ha conservado su integridad&#8221;. La cita de Friedrich Engels que hi ha a continuaci\u00f3 encara diu m\u00e9s. S&#8217;hauria de tornar a llegir a  poc a poc sobretot pel que t\u00e9 d&#8217;an\u00e0lisi materialista dial\u00e8ctic, que per  cert ressona en les tesis de Lidia Falc\u00f3n, i d&#8217;utopia ja que parla, fins i tot, del socialisme cibern\u00e8tic.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-family: trebuchet ms,geneva; font-size: 10pt;\">M&#8217;agradaria rellegir amb vosaltres el comen\u00e7ament del llibre (Traducci\u00f3 de Ram\u00f3n Rib\u00e9 Queralt):<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-family: trebuchet ms,geneva; font-size: 10pt;\">&#8220;La  divisi\u00f3n estanca derivada del sexo es tan profunda que resulta  imperceptible. Caso de ser percibida, puede serlo bajo una capa de  desigualdad superficial, susceptible de abolici\u00f3n mediante unas pocas  reformas o mediante la plena integracion de la mujer en el estamento  laboral. Es, sin embargo, la reacci\u00f3n del var\u00f3n, la mujer o el ni\u00f1o  corrientes la que m\u00e1s se acerca a la verdad:<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-family: trebuchet ms,geneva; font-size: 10pt;\">-\u00a1Qu\u00e9  dices! Pero, \u00a1si &#8220;esto&#8221; no se puede cambiar! \u00a1T\u00fa est\u00e1s loco! Pues bien,  hasta ah\u00ed exactamente ahondamos en la realidad. Esta reaci\u00f3n espont\u00e1nea  \u2013la suposici\u00f3n de que, aunque inconscientemente, las feministas est\u00e1n  hablando de cambiar un estado biol\u00f3gico fundamental- es la reacci\u00f3n  sincera. El que un cambio tan profundo no encaje f\u00e1cilmente en las  categor\u00edas mentales tradicionales \u2013las &#8220;pol\u00edticas&#8221;, por ejemplo- no se  debe a la irrelevancia de dichas categor\u00edas, sino a su estrechez  cong\u00e9nita; el feminismo radical las arrolla. Si existiera un vocablo de  contenido m\u00e1s amplio que el de &#8220;revoluci\u00f3n&#8221;, lo utilizar\u00edamos aqu\u00ed.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-family: trebuchet ms,geneva; font-size: 10pt;\">Ho deixo aqu\u00ed, confiant que aquesta entrada serveixi d&#8217;ham&#8230;<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-family: trebuchet ms,geneva; font-size: 10pt;\"><strong>Shulamith Firestone<\/strong> va morir a finals d&#8217;agost, als 67 anys, sola, i sembla que es va trigar uns quants dies a trobar-la&#8230;<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-family: trebuchet ms,geneva; font-size: 10pt;\">Aprofitant  les seves paraules: va ser una pionera i va avan\u00e7ar a les palpentes per  trobar-se amb les feministes&#8230; que no la podem deixar sola ni oblidar.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>He retrobat a la fila del darrera de la lleixa m\u00e9s alta de la meva llibreria el llibre de Shulamith Firestone, La dial\u00e9ctica del sexo.
