La primera \u00e9s la capital eg\u00edpcia (El Caire) per\u00f2 segueixen Karachi (Pakistan) i Delhi (\u00cdndia).<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-family: 'Trebuchet MS', sans-serif;\">Una de cada cinc <a href=\"https:\/\/asianfilmfestival.barcelona\/2018\/es\/paises\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">pel\u00b7l\u00edcules<\/a> <span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-family: 'Trebuchet MS',sans-serif;\">(el 20%) <\/span>del centenar que es presenten, estan dirigides per dones de diferents pa\u00efsos i<span style=\"font-size: 10pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Trebuchet MS', sans-serif;\">\u00a0moltes reflecteixen aquestes dures realitats. Una d&#8217;elles, <strong>Anucha Boonyawatana<\/strong>, fundadora de la<a href=\"http:\/\/gmotif.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> <em>G-Motif Production<\/em><\/a>, una de les majors empreses de v\u00eddeos d\u2019aquell pa\u00eds, presenta <em>Malila: The Farewell Flower<\/em> (l\u2019oc\u00e0s d\u2019un homosexual amb c\u00e0ncer). Una altra de les directores \u00e9s <strong>Bongkoj Khongmalai<\/strong>, que presenta el seu primer llargmetratge <em>Sad Beauty<\/em> (una trama entre dues amigues que s\u2019enfronten a les drogues, el c\u00e0ncer i la viol\u00e8ncia masclista). La tercera directora <strong>Anocha Suwichakornpong<\/strong>, compta a <em>By the Time it Gets Dark<\/em>, la vida de dues dones en una casa a\u00efllada entre camps i muntanyes. Els dos cineastes homes tailandesos presenten la hist\u00f2ria d\u2019una parella masculina amb un fill (<em>Fathers<\/em>) i la d\u2019una estudiant que dissenya unes xuletes per a ex\u00e0mens amb dos amics (<em>Bad Genius<\/em>).<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-family: 'Trebuchet MS', sans-serif;\">Hong Kong es reparteix la direcci\u00f3 al 50% entre dones i homes en les seves 6 presentacions, per\u00f2 totes les pel\u00b7l\u00edcules aborden temes femenins. <strong>Kearen Pang<\/strong>, que \u00e9s productora multim\u00e8dia a m\u00e9s d&#8217;escriptora, directora i actriu de teatre, compta en el seu film <em>&#8217;29 +1\u2019 l<\/em>a hist\u00f2ria de dues noies les vides de les quals es creuen en compartir apartament; La guionista i directora <strong>Tam Wai-ching<\/strong> presenta tamb\u00e9 el seu primer llargmetratge: <em>In your dreams<\/em>, una pel\u00b7l\u00edcula rom\u00e0ntica inspirada en el complex d\u2019\u00c8dip. La cineasta <strong>Sarita Khurana<\/strong> que viu a Brooklyn (Nova York) i que planteja en els seus treballs temes de les di\u00e0spores, la identitat, la marginalitat social, la sexualitat i la subalternitat, presenta <em>&#8216;A Suitable Girl&#8217;<\/em> en col\u00b7laboraci\u00f3 amb la productora <strong>Smriti Mundhra<\/strong>. \u00c9s la trama de 3 joves \u00edndies que lluiten contra els rols i les pressions perqu\u00e8 es casin, alhora que analitzen les relacions dins la instituci\u00f3 matrimonial.
