Foto wikipedia-org<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-family: trebuchet ms,geneva; font-size: 10pt;\">El  canvi clim\u00e0tic ha estat el gran absent en els debats entre els  principals candidats a la presid\u00e8ncia als EUA, i quan l&#8217;hurac\u00e0 Sandy ha  tocat a la porta de Nova York i New Jersey sembrant destrucci\u00f3 i mort,  els candidats han seguit callats sobre les causes del desastre. No  de casualitat, pel que sembla, ja que en les m\u00e9s cares eleccions del  pa\u00eds, ingents fons han estat destinats per la Chevron i altres  companyies petrol\u00edferes, de carb\u00f3 i gas, per a la campanya de Romney. I  Obama no podia perdre el suport d&#8217;estats on \u00e9s molt forta la producci\u00f3  de carb\u00f3 (recordem que els Estats Units junts amb la Xina i l&#8217;\u00cdndia t\u00e9  una de les majors reserves de carb\u00f3 del m\u00f3n).<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p> <\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-family: trebuchet ms,geneva; font-size: 10pt;\">Aquesta  coincid\u00e8ncia de interessos ha estat denunciada sense embuts per la  candidata del Partit Verd, <strong>Jill Stein<\/strong>, que ha realitzat recentment dues  accions de protesta. Una contra la implementaci\u00f3 de l&#8217;oleoducte des  Canad\u00e0 a la costa del Golf nord-americ\u00e0, que causar\u00e0 forts emissions de  gas hivernacle ,  i una altra intentant entrar sense autoritzaci\u00f3 a la sala on havia de  tenir el debat entre<strong> Obama<\/strong> i <strong>Romney<\/strong> a New York, i all\u00e0 va estar  arrestada unes hores.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-family: trebuchet ms,geneva; font-size: 10pt;\"><strong>Jill  Stein<\/strong>, 62 anys, doctora de Massachusetts graduada a la universitat de  Harvard (la mateixa d&#8217;<strong>Obama<\/strong> i <strong>Romney<\/strong>), ha arribat a presentar entre quatre candidatures menors (dos de dreta, un socialdem\u00f2crata, i ella,  d&#8217;esquerra) que apostaven a la  presid\u00e8ncia, gr\u00e0cies al fet d&#8217;haver rebut el percentatge m\u00ednim  d&#8217;acceptaci\u00f3 en una de les enquestes nacionals Gallup, com exigeixen les  normes establertes per dem\u00f2crates i republicans, per\u00f2 ha estat ignorada  pels mitjans.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-family: trebuchet ms,geneva; font-size: 10pt;\">Els  vots de les dones, dels immigrants, dels joves i dels hispans han estat  majorit\u00e0riament aprofitats per <strong>Obama<\/strong>, que ha connectat m\u00e9s que <strong>Romney<\/strong> amb les seves exig\u00e8ncies. No  est\u00e0 de m\u00e9s dir que el Partit Verd no ha comptat amb els fons  necessaris per pagar espots i propaganda, o mobilitzar milers de  voluntaris com han fet els dos principals contricantes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-family: trebuchet ms,geneva; font-size: 10pt;\"><strong>Jill Stein<\/strong> \u00e9s considerada pel New York Times la candidata del moviment &#8220;Occupy&#8221;. Den\u00fancia  que als Estats Units amb la crisi financera els rics s&#8217;estan fent m\u00e9s  rics, empitjoren els nivells educatius i sanitaris, s&#8217;han perdut milions  de llocs de treball, s\u00f3n atacats els drets civils, i la llei electoral  no permet als ciutadans i ciutadanes les eleccions directes del president o la presidenta, limitant de fet la seva llibertat d&#8217;expressi\u00f3 i participaci\u00f3 pol\u00edtica. Proposa  un nou model energ\u00e8tic i la protecci\u00f3 mediombiental, l&#8217;est\u00edmul a la  creaci\u00f3 de llocs de treball, la fi de les guerres i la legalitzaci\u00f3 de  la marihuana, entre altres mesures.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-family: trebuchet ms,geneva; font-size: 10pt;\">Aquesta  llarga campanya electoral ha acabat. Han estat reconeguts d&#8217;alguna  manera uns importants drets per les dones i els gais, mentre el tema  ambiental segueix tocant a la porta de la consci\u00e8ncia ciutadana i la  pol\u00edtica.
